About Group
The Murray County Minnesota ARES
group was started to provide assistance to the county for emergency
communications using Amateur radio frequencies. The group was
created by the Murray County Sheriff's office and they manage
the 2M Repeater in Tracy, MN.

Repeater (October 1, 2009) 147.150 - Output, Tone is 141.3

Our 2M
Repeater is on the MNDOT tower south of Tracy, MN. with
120 watts of power.
The antenna is 330 feet high and should reach a long way for
Southwest Minnesota. Current reports have been 50-60 miles out
from the repeater.

Our weekly ARES net starts each Wednesday
at 8pm (CST). We welcome all amateur radio operators that
can reach our repeater.

Our Goal: To provide
emergency communications to the county when requested and to
Southwest Minnesota region. We are highly trained radio
communication volunteers that enjoy using Amateur Radio to help
our local community and region. We take ARES and our
service to the county very seriously and always gain more
knowledge through training and practice.
